What's the most important thing you learned in school?
Throughout my high school career, I have learned a lot of life lessons but the most important one for me, is to be myself. In high school you’re learning to find yourself but it can be difficult with everyone around you. In high school, it’s typical to try and fit in to make friends. In most situation you find yourself trying to be who everyone else wants you to be and end up being unhappy. When you're first making friends you try to impress them and do things that they like, but it’s okay just to be yourself and know you’ll make friends regardless.
What three words would you use to describable yourself? Why?
The three words I would use to describe myself are passionate, selfless, and trustworthy. I’m a very passionate person, and I like to do things with my heart over my head. I always go all in and do the adventurous thing, even if it doesn’t always seem logical. I also hold my friendships and relationships with others close to my heart and always put others before myself. I always make sure others are happy and put their happiness first. I am also a very trustworthy person, I make sure others can rely on me and trust me regardless of what is going on. I think these three traits made me who I am today. They also helped me become the friends that I am which has had great impacts on my life.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In the next ten year, I see myself growing as an individual in many different ways. I would like to become a registered nurse and work in the NICU unit for at least two years. After that I would like to get my masters as a Nurse Practitioner and be in charge of the NICU unit. I would love to work with the premature babies and help them grow. I would also love to have my own home that is blue, with white shutters and a red door. I would love to become a wife and fill my house with at least three kids of my own.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
If I could be anywhere in the world right now, I would be in Smoky Mountains Tennessee. Every year I go with my family for a week or so and we always stay in a cabin in the mountains. Tennessee happens to be my favorite places in the world because it always begins me so much joy. It is always peaceful and exciting and every time I think of the mountains, I remember all the amazing memories that I hold close to my heart. Tennessee reminds me of how important family, friends and how the little things in life, mean the most.
What was the last gift you gave someone?
The last gift I gave someone, was something I made myself. My boyfriend and I's one year was on May 6th and I decided to make him something meaningful instead of getting him materialistic things. I decide to make him a scrapbook of us over the last year. I started from before we started dated and ended on our spring break vacation. I spent over a month working on it and making sure it was as perfect as possible. I loved working on it and am happy with the outcome.
What is your greatest strength? What is your greatest weakness?
I would say my greatest weakness is how emotional I am. A lot of the time I put my feelings over logic and I feel like it sometimes doesn't always work out in my favor. Sometimes I let my emotions control me, which is some cases can be a disadvantage. I would also say my greatest strength would be my honesty. I feel that it is always important to be honest. This can be an issue because being honest isn't always easy so I always make sure I don't come across mean or rude. I like to make sure I am always honest and genuine with everyone around me. I think both my weakness and strength can be used in a positive and negative way which is why I struggle sometimes with expressing my feelings.
